Formation Group Study Updates

Inspired by the vision of St. Francis, we commit ourselves to the Gospel as our way of life. Like Francis, our worldview is centered on Christ, who reveals to us a God who is Father and a life that is love. We are guided by simplicity and humility rather than power and prestige, as we seek to become instruments of peace in the world.

In Matthew 22: 37-39, Jesus said: “You must love the Lord your God with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your mind. This is the greatest and the first commandment. The second resembles it: you must love your neighbour as yourself.”

In the spirit of Francis, we are both active and contemplative. In response to the call of the Gospel, we open ourselves to a life of continued conversion; we reverence all of God’s creation; we identify with the victim, the poor and the marginalized.
